Experience
Jamie acts for commercial, charity and private clients in all aspects of transactions involving commercial property including:
• General commercial property work, both transactional and management, for both commercial and charity clients
• Sales, purchases and refinancings
• All aspects of landlord and tenant work including:
   - granting and taking new leases
   - lease renewals
   - assignments and underlettings
• Corporate property transaction experience including amalgamations, mergers and asset sales and purchases
• Residential property experience including sale and purchase of both freehold and leasehold properties

Publications and Talks
• Joint editor of the Property section of Jordans Charity Administration Service
• Speaking at various seminars and conferences including the Charity Finance Property Conference in 2009 on topics such as buying buildings and taking leases of property

Recent Transactions
• Advising an international charity on taking a new lease of offices in the West End
• Acting for an employers' federation on the property aspects of the amalgamation of its branches and subsequent incorporation
• Refinancing of a UK charity and its purchase of leasehold property and relocation to a new office headquarters
• Purchase of a redundant church for a UK charity
• Acting for a union in disposals of various of its properties

Pro Bono Work
• Jamie provides advice at the Blackfriars Law Centre in South London
• Jamie participates in will-drafting service at a local hospital for patients in extremis
• Voluntary work in the Czech Republic for Prague hospital Children’s leukaemia department and for Novo Skola, a non profit organisation training and supporting Romany teaching assistants in the Czech Republic
