BWB invites you to a free seminar which will provide practical guidance for charities on a number of topical issues. The session is aimed at legacy managers and others responsible for dealing with legacies on behalf of their charity We are also delighted to welcome guest speaker Meg Abdy from Legacy Foresight. The full programme is:

4.30: Welcome and Introduction
4.35 – 4.55: Legacy Foresight are Britain’s foremost analysts of the legacy and in-memoriam sectors. Meg will be discussing the headline findings of the latest Legacy Market Review, including some fresh insights into charitable will-making trends.
4.55 – 5.15: Laura Soley from BWB’s Charity & Social Enterprise Department will provide her top ten tips on maximising legacy income.
5.15 – 5.30: Jamie Huard from BWB’s Property Department will be discussing what you need to think about when your charity is left an interest in a property by will.
5.30 – 5.50: Rob Oakley and Leticia Jennings from BWB’s Dispute Resolution Department will be providing a round up of the last year’s most important cases (they promise not to discuss RSPCA v Gill!) and their implications for charities.
5.50 - 6.00: Q & A

There will be a networking session from 6.00pm onwards over wine and nibbles.
