Event Summary

Back from last year on popular demand, this year's BWB Breakfast Serial will distil the expertise of our sector-leading lawyers into a series of bitesize seminars. Whether you’re representing a new charity or are simply in need of a refresher, these free sessions will provide knowledge and clarity on all of your key issues.

This session will provide an introduction to the essentials of intellectual property, including

  • The basics of trade mark law - how to protect names, logos and strapline
  • How to check that new brands are clear to use
  • An outline of the law of copyright, as it applies to websites, publications and ideas
  • Top tips on data protection law – the questions we keep getting asked

Timetable:

8.00am: Registration, breakfast and networking
8.30am - 9.30am: Seminar
