Rupert Earle, partner at Bates Wells Braithwaite, has been working for the Independent Reviewer of the Advertising Standards Authority Adjudications over its decision not to pursue a complaint by Sainsbury's against Tesco's 'Price Promise' campaign. The courts have rejected Sainsbury's complaint that the ASA's decision in respect to Tesco's campaign was 'unlawful'. A range of publications have covered the case.
