TrustLaw have published their 2016 Index of Pro Bono, in which BWB lawyers are noted to have exceeded the national average for the number of pro bono hours worked. According to the Index, which is produced in conjunction with Thomson Reuters foundation, lawyers in England & wales recorded an average of 21.6 hours in the past year. BWB lawyers achieved an average of 24.42 hours.

Pro bono work helps drive social change, but the number of hours is just one indication of our contribution. As a Certified B Corp, BWB integrates our founding principles to help run a successful commercial business as well as a socially responsible one. The Stephen Lloyd Awards is also a reflection of our dedication to pro bono, where support is provided by numerous sector experts who commit themselves to supporting early stage projects that have real potential to achieve practical, sustainable social change.
