We aim to have a material positive overall impact on society and the environment, taken as a whole.

BWB’s environment strategy has clear objectives each year, backed by management action to reduce our carbon emissions. BWB signed up to the 10:10 initiative to reduce our carbon footprint by 10% by 2010 and we are proud to say that BWB more than achieved this target.

We are committed to enhancing and communicating our environmental initiatives which aim to minimise the impact of our business on the environment.

We seek to reduce our resource use and further improving our recycling and waste management programmes and be energy efficient wherever possible.

BWB is proud to have achieved ISO 14001:2004 certification from BSI for our environmental management system.

Ceritificate number: EMS 598047

BWB is a member of the Legal Sector Alliance; an inclusive movement of law firms committed to taking action on climate change by reducing their carbon footprint and adopting environmentally sustainable practices.

BWB also has an Environmental Policy Statement which can be viewed here. BWB continues to set ambitious new targets in our aim to reduce our impact on the environment and these can be viewed on our website.
