Having completed her legal training in February 2016, Chinonso qualified into the real estate department. With a background in corporate governance and philanthropy, Chinonso works with a range of for-profit and non-profit businesses (including charities and social enterprises) on various aspects of real estate transactions and disputes.

  • Acting for landlords and tenants on issues arising out of early terminations of leases including the exercise of break options and validity of notices
  • Advising on service charge disputes in both residential and commercial properties
  • Advising on security of tenure aspects of Agricultural Holdings and Farm Business tenancies
  • Advising paper owners and squatters on adverse possession claims in both registered and unregistered land situations
  • Advising servient land owners on obtaining light obstructions notices 
  • Assisting with advice to estate owners on wayleave agreements and advising on compliance with the Electronic Communications Code
