Experience

Molly joined the Corporate and Commercial team after completing her training contract at BWB. Molly advises a wide range of businesses and social enterprises on commercial issues including brand management, data protection, marketing, fundraising and intellectual property rights. Molly also has strong experience advising on consumer protection law in relation to social enterprises, commercial companies and the financial services industry. With a background in arts and media, Molly particularly enjoys advising cultural and creative clients, assisting regularly with intellectual property and contract advice.

  • Advising on the development of a FinTech mobile application, including regulatory compliance
  • Advising professional fundraisers and charities on the regulatory framework around fundraising and marketing practices
  • Advising a variety of businesses, social enterprises and charities on consumer protection, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015
  • Advising clients on marketing activity, including use of third party contractors in marketing to customers/contacts
  • Coordinating a restructure of a digital cultural joint venture, including drafting a suite of commissioning documents and advising on intellectual property ownership
  • Drafting a suite of production contracts for a digital production company
  • Advising a range of businesses on their websites, social media and digital activity
  • Ongoing general commercial and contractual advice for the establishment new performance space in the West End
  • Advising on the licensing of the brand and training materials for an international charity
