Hannah is a Solicitor in the Charity & Social Enterprise team where she advises charities, not for profit organisations and businesses with a social purpose on a range of legal and commercial matters including formation and registration, constitutional and regulatory compliance, issues relating to contractual and grant funding arrangements, and general charity and company law.

Hannah is a member of the Education group.

  • Acting on incorporations of existing charities, including establishing charitable companies and CIOs, undertaking due diligence, drafting the relevant agreements and dealing with the unincorporated charity post-transfer

  • Acting on transfers of services, out of larger charities and local authorities
  • Constitutional work updating articles of association of small and medium-sized charities, including students’ unions and other membership organisations
  • Advising on conflicts of interest procedures and other governance matters
  • Advising a national charity on options for its local membership structure
