This is a unique opportunity for an outstanding candidate to build a practice over time.

The role will involve advising on financial services regulatory matters and other corporate and financial transactions, with a focus on social finance and investment but with an opportunity to develop new business in the areas of crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending.

The role will also involves developing internal knowhow on financial services regulatory matters, particularly as applicable to social finance, crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending, and building the capacity of other fee earners in relation to such matters and disciplines.

BWB is an unusual firm with a strong ethos, operating as committed, practical, commercially-focused advisers to a huge range of public interest organisations including household name charities, social enterprises, social finance institutions and public authorities.

We are looking for a solicitor who has proven post-qualification experience of advising on general financial services regulation with a proven interest in social finance, crowdfunding and/or peer-to-peer lending and an ability to win new business over time.

In addition, experience of managing corporate and/or financial transactions is desirable.
