At BWB, we believe in creating a positive impact on our society as optimists leading the way with a forward thinking, future focused approach. As a B-Corp, we seek to go above and beyond profit by finding new and better ways of doing things, ensuring our work has a meaningful impact today and tomorrow.

Determined to solidify our firm’s role in seeking opportunities to be innovative and empowering those who want to create a positive change, led to the formation of BWB Foundation. Aligned to the firm, but independent with its own mission, the Foundation expands BWB’s charitable giving and philanthropic initiatives through corporate grant funding schemes, as well as continuing to match funds raised for charities through employee-led fundraising events.

Central to BWB Foundation is its vision and purpose, which is supporting sustainable, social change. The two main corporate grant funding schemes established through the Foundation are the:

  • Stephen Lloyd Awards – which seeks to support early stage projects or start-ups addressing a social problem in an innovative manner. Winning applicants receive £20,000, along with extensive pro bono support from leaders in the social enterprise sector. This annual award opens in February of each year. Further details can be found by visiting
  • Impact Grants Programme – a programme providing grants (between £5,000 to £10,000) to shortlisted staff nominated charities which advance human rights causes, encourage diversity and social mobility, and promote access to justice. Charities must initially be recommended by a BWB employee in order to be considered. This programme opens in September of each year.
