This seminar is designed for health and social care providers and organisations working with children and vulnerable adults. It will provide an overview of how to plan for and respond to the issues arising from the death, serious injury or abuse of a service user, including useful practical steps for your organisation to take.
We will cover crisis planning from a regulatory and criminal law perspective, including:
- Regulatory duties, including notifications to the CQC (and serious incident reports to the Charity Commission), and internal and regulatory investigations
- Criminal investigations
- Disciplinary investigations / employment issues
