- Can I make impact investments as a charitable Foundation?
- Can my investments be in line with my charitable values?
- Is it possible for my Foundation to have 100% impact?
This event will showcase how different foundations are using investing for impact in the UK and internationally. Practitioners, trustees and pioneers in the impact investment space will discuss how their foundations are investing for impact, and present practical case studies on how they are involved – from venture philanthropy to investing 100% of their capital for impact.
Speakers will include Sir Harvey McGrath, Chair of the G8 Social Impact Investment Working Group on Asset Allocation and Chair of Big Society Capital, Johannes Weber from the BMW Foundation, Danyal Sattar from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, other Foundation Trustees and social entrepreneurs who have received impact investments.
The event is aimed at executives and trustees of trusts, foundations, and operational charities who are exploring how to get involved in impact investment in different ways depending on their mission, size and where in the ecosystem they feel they are best placed to play a role.
