Event Summary

The Charity Commission has recently warned charities about the risks of internal fraud and cybercrime. According to the Office for National Statistics there were 4.7 million fraud and cybercrime incidents in 2017. It's increasingly important that charities implement the right controls and training to keep up-to-date with this continuously evolving branch of criminal activity, to minimise the risk of falling victim to cybercrime and fraud.

Santander and Bates Wells Braithwaite present an educational seminar hosted by Santander’s Cyber Crime Unit’s head security consultant, Paul Sudbury, along with Rob Oakley and Mindy Jhittay of BWB’s dispute resolution team. We will provide you with some practical guidance how to protect your organisation from cybercrime and fraud and, should your organisation become a victim, what steps to take in the short and medium term.
