16:30 - 17:30
This seminar pulls together expertise from BWB’s charity and intellectual property teams. A charity’s brand and other IP are vital assets, with beneficiary delivery and significant fundraising often being achieved by allowing third party use of these assets. This seminar will deal with different kinds of legal issues arising from licensing your charity’s IP, as well as some practical tips for ensuring that licensees use the IP correctly. Often charities allow use of their IP on an informal basis, and the network of users might not be a formalised affiliation. This seminar will look at these and other complexities common in the charity world.
