Melanie Carter, partner and head of BWB's Public & Regulatory Law department, has been quoted in an article for The Lawyer discussing the role of lobbying in electoral and parliamentary law.

The article, which features on The Lawyer's 'Lawyer2B' site, discusses the relationship between UK electoral law and legal advisers.

Melanie points out that a key point of difference between the US and UK systems is that of financial regulation, especially with governance around lobbyists, and describes the work that our Electoral, Political and Campaigning Law team has undertaken for clients in relation to the 2014 Lobbying Act.
