BWB’s M&A team acted for the shareholders of Mecmesin Limited on the sale of its entire issued share capital to Physical Testing Properties Limited, a portfolio company of US Private Equity investor Battery Ventures.
Mecmesin Group is a leading designer and manufacturer of force and torque measurement and testing systems and operates globally with subsidiaries in the US, Europe and across Asia.
The shareholders of Mecmesin were advised by the corporate finance team at Crowe UK led by partner Matteo Timpani, supported by his colleague James Smith.

Battery were advised by Charles Russell Speechlys (acquisition) and Gowling WLG (Banking and acquisition finance). Other lawyers in the transaction included DWF and Travers Smith on the banking aspects.
